COVID19 Precautions

Your safety has always been our priority. Staying Alive CPR has been providing individual manikins for years to teach participants to prevent cross contamination of germs between students. As a former teacher I’ve learned also that maximum hands-on skills practice time on the manikins results in much better learning and retention. Using universal precautions, we have implemented a thorough cleaning process of sanitizing the manikins at the beginning and end of each class. Each student will assist in disinfecting their own personal manikin to ensure the safety of its use. After each class the manikins undergo another deep cleaning process performed by the Staying Alive CPR Staff.

We want you to feel safe while taking our classes. In addition to working with pre-sanitized manikins, you will have access to a pair of non-latex gloves to use during the training, and disinfectant gel will be readily available. Per American Heart Association COVID Guidelines, no respirations (or breathing into the manikins) will occur during the training.

If you feel ill or are displaying COVID symptoms, we will gladly reschedule your training time to a later time when you are feeling healthy.
